Linkedin Integration

Integrating LinkedIn with Skima AI allows you to automate candidate imports from LinkedIn job posts directly into your Skima dashboard. This removes the manual effort of downloading resumes and keeps your hiring process seamless and organized.

Methods of LinkedIn Integration

There are three ways to integrate LinkedIn with Skima AI:

  1. Email Forwarding: Forward job applications from LinkedIn to Skima AI.
  2. Easy Apply Integration: Use a unique Skima email to receive candidate resumes directly.
  3. Career Page Redirection: Send applicants from LinkedIn job posts to your organization’s career page.

1. Email Forwarding Integration​

This allows Skima AI to receive LinkedIn job applications automatically via email forwarding, ensuring all candidate resumes appear directly in the dashboard.

  1. Navigate and click on Settings from the left sidebar. Click on Other Integrations for Linkedin email forwarding.

Step 1: Generate Your Unique Email for Forwarding​

Every Skima AI account is given a unique email address to receive applications.

  1. Find the LinkedIn Email Forwarding section.
  2. Click "Generate Email" to create a unique email for your organization.
  3. Copy the generated email by clicking the copy icon. This email will be used to receive LinkedIn job applications automatically.

Step 2: Set Up Email Forwarding in Gmail​

By forwarding LinkedIn job applications to Skima AI, you automate the process of receiving resumes.

  1. Open Gmail and log in to the account where you receive LinkedIn job applications.
  2. Click the Settings (⚙️) icon on the top-right.

  3. Select "See all settings".
  4. Navigate to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" section.
  5. Click on "Add a forwarding address".
  6. Paste the generated Skima AI email you copied earlier and click "Next". If using another email provider (Outlook, Yahoo, etc.), check their email forwarding settings and add the Skima AI email.

Step 4: Verify & Activate Email Forwarding​

This ensures LinkedIn applications are automatically sent to Skima AI.

  1. After entering the Skima AI email, you’ll receive a verification email.
  2. Open your inbox, find the verification email, and confirm the forwarding request.
  3. Once verified, LinkedIn applications will automatically forward to your Skima AI dashboard!

2. Easy Apply Integration (Direct Email Method)​

Instead of email forwarding, you can directly insert Skima AI’s generated email when creating a job post on LinkedIn to get parsed candidates on your dashboard.

  1. While creating a job post on LinkedIn, choose "Easy Apply".
  2. In the "Receive Applicants" section, enter the Skima AI generated email.
  3. Complete the job post setup and publish it.
  4. Now, when candidates apply, LinkedIn will automatically send their resumes and details to your Skima AI dashboard.

3. Redirecting Applicants to Your Career Page​

This method allows you to send candidates from LinkedIn directly to your career page and then to your dashboard, ensuring they apply through your own system.

  1. When creating a job post on LinkedIn, look for the "Receive Applicants" dropdown.
  2. Select "At an external website".
  3. Enter your organization’s career page URL.
  4. Finish setting up your job post and publish it. Now, when candidates apply, they’ll be redirected to your official career page where they can complete their application!

This method is best if you want more control over applications rather than relying on LinkedIn’s Easy Apply system.
