Three Ways to Search for Candidates

  1. Option 1: Search in Your Own Candidate Database (Best for organizations with pre-existing resumes).
  2. Option 2: Try It Out in Our Demo Database (Explore AI search features in a demo environment).
  3. Option 3: Search the Global Talent Pool (Gain access to 300M+ candidates worldwide).

Option 1: Own Candidate Database

If you’ve already uploaded resumes and built your candidate pool, you can now use SKIMA AI’s intelligent search to find the best candidates from your local database.

Step 1: Enter Your Search Query

  1. Navigate to the AI Search Bar on the SKIMA AI dashboard.

  2. Type your candidate requirements in plain language (e.g., "Software Engineer with Python experience in finance, based in New York").

  3. Press Enter, and SKIMA AI will start analyzing your database.
  • AI scans your uploaded candidates.
  • Each candidate receives an AI Matching Score based on skills, experience, and location relevance.
  • Candidates are ranked from highest to lowest match.

Step 2: Reviewing AI Search Results

Once SKIMA AI processes your query, you’ll see:

  1. A list of candidates ranked by AI Matching Score.
  2. A summary explaining why a candidate is a strong / weak match.

  3. A quick view of skills, experience, and education for each candidate.

Step 3: Refining Results with Filters

Use the filters on the left-hand side to refine search results further.

You can filter candidates by:

  1. AI Score – Show only candidates with 75%+ relevance.
  2. Industry Experience – Target specific sectors (e.g., Tech, Healthcare).
  3. Location – Narrow down results by country or city.
  4. Organization Size – Focus on candidates with experience in startups, mid-sized firms, or enterprises.

  5. Or you can adjust the AI Generated Job description of the Job according to the candidate requirement.

Step 4: Understanding the AI Matching Score

Each candidate receives a score based on:

  1. Skill relevance – Do they have the required skills?
  2. Experience match – Do they meet the job’s experience level?
  3. Industry alignment – Have they worked in a relevant industry?
  4. Location suitability – Are they in the preferred location?

Click on a candidate’s AI Matching Score to see a detailed breakdown, including:

Pros – Why they are a great fit.
Cons – Where they fall short.
