Inner Search

Inner Search allows you to find the most relevant candidates for a particular job by scanning through your entire uploaded candidate database. This includes candidates uploaded for different jobs and those linked directly to the selected role.

Step 1: Access the Search Option​

Before performing Inner Search, you need to select the specific job role for which you want to find candidates. If you manage multiple roles, always check for Inner Search first before posting a new job. It might help you find the right candidate faster!

METHOD 1​

  1. Navigate to “Jobs” from Navigation bar on Dashboard.
  2. Go to the Jobs Section in Skima AI.
  3. Locate the job role you want to search for candidates.
  4. Hover or click on “Actions” of that job and select “Perform Inner Search”.

METHOD 2​

  1. Click on the job title (e.g., Python Developer)
  2. Then click the three dots (options button) on the top right to the “Upload Resumes” button and select “Perform Inner Search”.

Step 2: View Relevant Candidates​

Once you perform Inner Search, Skima AI will scan your entire uploaded candidate database (from all jobs and manual uploads) and present candidates that fit the selected role. Use Inner Search regularly to avoid redundant candidate sourcing. You might already have the right talent in your database!

  1. Click “Perform Inner Search”, and Skima AI will generate a list of relevant candidates.
  2. View the total number of matched candidates (e.g. "183 relevant candidates from 2202 profiles").
  3. Scroll through the results and explore each candidate's profile.

Step 3: Filter & Refine Your Search​

Inner Search results can be further refined using advanced filters, allowing you to shortlist candidates more effectively.

Start with broader filters and gradually narrow them down to avoid missing strong candidates!

  1. Use the filters on the left panel to refine your search.
  2. Available filters include:
  • Industry (e.g., IT, Healthcare, Finance)
  • Work Mode (Remote, Hybrid, On-site)
  • Experience Level (Years of experience)
  • Notice Period (Immediate, 30 days, 60 days)
  • Location (City or country-specific search)
  • Salary Range (Adjustable based on requirements)

3. Apply relevant filters and review updated results.
